Winter brings with it not only unpleasant cold temperatures, but a variety of physical discomforts caused by dry air. A whole house humidifier is installed directly into your heating system and works with your forced-air system to put as much moisture into the air as possible. As air flows through your heating system, the humidifier adds moisture to the air in the form of water vapor. The moistened air then travels back through the supply ductwork and provides increased humidity to all points in your house.
When there is more moisture in the air, the evaporation of moisture from your skin decreases. This allows you to feel comfortable when the room is at a lower temperature. Added moisture also relieves physical discomforts caused by dry skin, sinuses and respiratory systems.
